With more than 20 tonnes of cannabis exported in 2024 (it was 18,521 kg at the end of the 3rd quarter of this year), Portugal is now the largest cannabis exporter in Europe and the second largest in the world , surpassed only by Canada.

But which companies have an INFARMED, I.P. license to operate in activities related to the cannabis plant in Portugal?

The latest report from the National Authority for Medicines and Health Products IP reveals a growth in the number of licenses granted, as well as in the number of companies in the pre-license phase, but there are also companies that have not renewed their authorization.

After the maps published last year and in 2022, we compiled once again (in list and map versions) all licensed companies in Portugal, for easier consultation by professionals in the cannabis industry.

You can listen to or read this report by João Xabregas and Laura Ramos in Portuguese, English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Hebrew, Thai, Japanese, Arabic, Greek, Russian, Hindi, Korean, Turkish or Mandarin at CannaReporter®.eu
